YAK - 42 D

The passenger plane Yak-42 D is intended for operation on airlines of average extent. On configuration represents a monoplane with a cantilever arrow-like low-sited wing. The plane has arrow-like tail assembly with the top arranged stabilizer.

EQUIPMENT

Three economic quiet turbofan engines are established on Yak-42 D. Independent start-up of engines, onboard and tail gangways for entering into the cabin enable to maintain the plane on poor-equipped air stations. In the bottom part of the fuselage, under the floor, there are two cargo compartments for transportation of cargoes, mails, and luggage in standard containers which loading is made through external onboard hatches.YAK-42 D in standard (base) variant of configuration and integration set is equipped for flights on the International and Internal airlines and it is designed to transport 120 passengers in the economy class variant.

To provide flights abroad in the European region currently the following is established and certified on the planes Yak-42 D:

  • satellite navigation systems GPS,
  • system of warning about dangerous rapproachement of planes in air TCAS-II series 7,
  • the equipment for flights provision in conditions RVSM,
  • early ground closeness warning systems ÑÐÏÁÇ,
  • the radio stations working in the frequencies range 8,33 kHz .

    By request of the customer the interior of the cabin may be considerably converted: various configurations of passenger interior from 90 up to 126 passengers now are developed and implemented. The plane also may be converted in cargo and passenger-and-freight variant. For individual customers VIP-configurations are developed for various amounts of passengers.

    CONDITIONS OF OPERATION

    The plane may fly up from the air station located at height of 2 500 m and to be operated at temperature of external air + 45°. Yak-42 D is the first Russian plane which has passed the full international certification, was admitted to flights without restrictions in all European states and was operated in more than 130 countries of the world. Yak-42 D is with success operated in the international lines even after ICÀÎ norms toughening on noise and issue of the engine. For the last ten years, on FAI data, Yak-42 D has the highest parameters on flights safety.

    MODERNIZATIONS

  • The left door sizes increasing allows to use it for boarding (landing) of passengers with application of standard airport gangways or the closed telescopic transitions;
  • Installation of noise absorbing devices of power units reduces noise level in area and meets the requirements of chapter 5 of the appendix of 16 ICÀÎ norms;
  • Replacement of an auxiliary power unit TA - á on TA - 12 increases height of start auxiliary power unit up to 5000 meters;
  • Input of the flaps fixed position on 10, 20, 50 and 45 degrees, provision on interceptors management in flight and on the ground, cruiser flight height increasing up to 9600 meters considerably raise flying-technical characteristics of the plane;
  • The modernized complex of the domestic and foreign aircraft instrumentation and radio engineering equipment provides an opportunity of flights, both on internal, and on the international airlines.
  • Installation aboard the plane three engines D-436 with a reverser and force of 7500 kg is possible, thus the take-off weight, cruiser speed of flight and height of an echelon simultaneously will increase. It will allow to lower specific fuel charges, to increase range of flight, to improve flying characteristics in conditions of the increased temperatures and high mountains.

    SALES AND SERVICES

    Sales conditions depend on technical requirements of the Buyer, and also from a complete set and delivery conditions of the aero engineering equipment (verifying equipment, ground service means, spare parts etc.).
    The guarantee with the following maintenance service and repair is given out on all supplied planes. By request of the Customer the following training will be performed for: pilots, instructors, technical personnel. Also the joint-stock company " YaK ALAKON " is eager to organize the maintenance service centers on planes of mark YAK on the Buyer's territory.
