YAK-58 IS A SINGLE-ENGINE MULTI-PURPOSE 6-SEATER
Relocation of the power-unit to the aft part enables a good view from the cabin and thus provides greater comfort for both the pilot and passengers.
Being a short-field aircraft with low-pressure tires, Yak-58 can operate from even rough airstrips.
High reliability, free access to the accessories and communications ensure simplicity and ease of technical servicing.
VERSIONS:
YAK-58AT – can be used for taxi-service for carrying up to 5 passengers;
YAK-58 Ñ – cargo version for carrying up to 600 kg;
YAK- 58 Ì – medical version for carrying one patient and one accompanying person (medical doctor);
YAK-58 L – enhanced comfort version capable of seating 4 passengers;
YAK- 58 ÀC – agriculture version;
Other versions are also possible.
DESIGN AND MATERIALS USED:
The aircraft has been based on a twin-boom scheme, with a U-shaped tail unit and a pusher propeller. Boasts of compactness
and rationality of design and configuration.
The aircraft has an aluminum-alloys all-metal frame. Its fuselage is a semi-monocoque with stressed skin. Two-spar divided wings. At the wing root there are two fuel tanks, capable of 250 liters each. Fiberglass wingtips.
Manageable pilot seat. A sofa lined along the afterframe.
When designing the aircraft, its developers placed special emphasis on ergomedicine and the cabin comfort for the passengers.
